CVE-2026-53607Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated SSRF via Host-derived upstream URL

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

SSRF in ApostropheCMS 4.30.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to probe private-network hosts through public pretty-file URLs. The @apostrophecms/file pretty-URL handler incorporates the unvalidated Host header into proxyUrl, fetches that upstream URL, and streams its status, headers, and body back. Exploitation requires prettyUrls enabled, local upload storage, and a known file slug; the constrained path limits impact to internal-host mapping and verbose error or banner disclosure.
