Code execution via unsanitized mind map imports
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Stored XSS in Trilium Notes 0.103.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code by inducing a user to import a crafted mind map. MindMap.tsx passes unsanitized mindMap JSON to Mind Elixir, whose dangerouslySetInnerHTML property writes attacker-controlled markup to innerHTML. Execution requires the victim to import the archive and open its mind map; Node integration then grants the injected script host-level code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
