Authorization bypass in Frappe Framework 16.31.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter note and like metadata via whitelisted endpoints. The frappe/desk/like.py _toggle_like path and frappe/desk/doctype/note/note.py mark_as_seen load a target document or Note and update _liked_by or seen-state metadata before enforcing read permission. Any authenticated account that can reach these endpoints can confirm that an otherwise unreadable document or note exists and can change resource-associated metadata, but the published record describes no broader data write or code-execution impact.
