Unauthenticated curriculum disclosure via unrestricted topic lookup
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
IDOR in Kodezen LLC Academy LMS 3.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read nonpublic course curricula via REST requests. The /topics route uses __return_true as its permission callback and returns curriculum data by attacker-controlled course ID without checking post status or enrollment. No account or user interaction is required, and successful requests expose topic details for private, draft, scheduled, or password-protected courses.
