Stored XSS via unchecked credential URL scheme
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Stored XSS in KubeV2V Migration Planner before 0.13.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's session. The migration-planner API stores a javascript: URL supplied in AgentStatusUpdate.CredentialUrl because its validator fails to reject that scheme, and the Hybrid Cloud Console renders the value as a link. Exploitation requires authenticated agent-status submission and a victim click; execution can expose data available to the victim's console session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
