CVE-2026-53458Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated information disclosure via raw API exceptions

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Information disclosure in Blueprint Studio before 2.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to read internal path and implementation details via API error responses. In custom_components/blueprint_studio/backend/api.py, the backend GET and POST handlers caught exceptions and returned str(err) in client JSON messages, exposing raw exception text instead of only logging server-side details and sending a generic error. Reachability requires a valid Home Assistant account, and the disclosed data is bounded to diagnostic strings that aid environment fingerprinting and follow-on attack planning rather than direct file read or write access.
