Private-board disclosure via unchecked cloneBoard source ID
Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
Missing authorization in WeKan before 9.35 allows remote authenticated users to read private boards through the cloneBoard method. The method passes a caller-controlled sourceBoardId to Exporter.build without calling canExport, so its raw MongoDB lookup dumps the entire board. Knowledge of a private board ID and any authenticated account is sufficient to copy cards, comments, attachments, members, and activities into an attacker-controlled board.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
