Private-board disclosure via unchecked copyBoard access
Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
Missing authorization in WeKan before 9.32 allows remote authenticated users to copy and read private boards through Meteor DDP. The copyBoard method in server/publications/boards.js loads a caller-selected board ID and calls board.copy() without verifying membership or administrative access. Any logged-in account that knows a private board ID can clone its cards, checklists, custom fields, labels, and rules, and caller-supplied properties can expose the clone.
