CVE-2026-53436Network attack vector

Phishing via normalized post-login redirect

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Open redirect in Jenkins 2.567 and earlier and LTS 2.555.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect users after login. The default login flow validates a URL containing ./ or ../ before the servlet container collapses those segments into a // scheme-relative URL. A victim must follow a crafted Jenkins link and complete the login flow; the resulting redirect reaches an attacker-controlled domain and enables phishing.
