Unauthenticated privilege escalation via insufficient access blocking
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Authentication bypass in Drupal SAML SSO - Service Provider before 3.1.4 allows remote attackers to gain elevated site privileges. The module does not sufficiently block access during the SAML authentication flow, but Drupal has not disclosed the affected function or mishandled exceptional condition. Exploitation requires network access to a Drupal site using the module and yields unauthorized access with confidentiality and integrity impact but no reported service interruption.
