Privilege escalation via unrestricted custom URL handler
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Improper authorization in Zoom Workplace before 7.0.4 for Android and before 7.0.3 for iOS allows remote attackers to escalate privileges. The mobile client's custom URL-scheme handler fails to restrict which actors can invoke protected actions, but Zoom has not identified the handler or actions. A user must interact with attacker-controlled network content; Zoom has not disclosed which privileges or protected resources become accessible.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
