Authenticated command execution via unsanitized lanIp
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Command injection in Tenda G103 1.0.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through the lanIp setting. system.lua's action_set_system_settings function passes lanIp directly to ifconfig, fw_setenv, and uci shell commands without sanitizing metacharacters. A valid high-privilege web session is required, and successful injection executes commands as root, enabling complete device takeover.
