CVE-2026-53374

Local memory exposure via uninitialized GART entries

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

Improper initialization in the AMDGPU driver in Linux Kernel allows local users to expose stale memory through garbage GART entries. amdgpu_bo_create_kernel() leaves the GART table uncleared, allowing speculative TLB loads to cache uninitialized PTEs that can later be treated as valid mappings. Low-privileged local access is required; stale mappings can expose or corrupt memory and disrupt the GPU or kernel.
