CVE-2026-53372

Dirty-page loss via unsupported PASID attachment

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

Improper PASID attachment in Intel VT-d in Linux Kernel 6.13 through 6.18.29 and 6.19 through 7.0.6 allows local users to lose dirty pages. The intel_nested_set_dev_pasid path attaches a PASID to a nested domain whose parent has dirty tracking enabled, although that combination lacks dirty tracking support. Reachability requires nested Intel VT-d translation, parent-domain dirty tracking, and PASID attachment; modified guest pages are then omitted from tracked migration state.
