CVE-2026-5337Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber-level file disclosure via unchecked file_id

Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026

IDOR in N-Media Frontend File Manager Plugin 23.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other users' uploaded files. The download handler accepts a user-controlled file_id value and serves the referenced file without verifying that the requester owns it. Subscriber-level access and a valid plugin nonce are sufficient; changing the identifier can expose files uploaded by administrators, with no demonstrated write or service-interruption impact.
