Kernel crash via stale journal descriptor dereference

NULL pointer dereference in Linux Kernel GFS2 allows local users to crash the system while unmounting a GFS2 filesystem. During unmount, gfs2_log_flush() can run after sd_jdesc is freed, and gfs2_log_release() dereferences sd_jdesc->jd_blocks without a NULL check. Triggering the path requires CAP_SYS_ADMIN in the initial user namespace and a mounted GFS2 filesystem; the bounded impact is a kernel crash.
