Remote system crash via mismatched TX accounting
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Denial of service in the Linux Kernel Airoha Ethernet driver allows remote attackers to crash affected systems via network traffic. airoha_dev_xmit() charges inflight packets only to hardware TX rings, while airoha_qdma_tx_napi_poll() completes bytes across every netdev TX queue, causing dql_completed() to reach a kernel assertion. The crash requires an Airoha interface with HTB offload or extra TX queues active; it does not disclose or alter data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
