Unauthenticated team metadata disclosure via missing API authentication
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Information disclosure in Gogs before 0.14.3 allows remote attackers to read organization team metadata through its REST API. The GET /api/v1/orgs/:orgname/teams route omits reqToken() middleware, while listTeams performs no independent authentication check. No account or user interaction is required; a crafted request reveals team IDs, names, descriptions, and permission levels for a named organization.
