Internal repository disclosure via unchecked migration redirects
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
SSRF in Gogs repository migration before 0.14.3 allows remote authenticated users to read internal Git repositories through redirects. ParseRemoteAddr in internal/form/repo.go checks only the submitted hostname, while git clone --mirror follows an unchecked redirect to a blocked address. Repository-migration access and an attacker-controlled HTTP redirect are required; reachable internal Git contents are copied into a repository controlled by the user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
