Repository page denial of service via malformed template
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Denial of service in issue reference rendering in Gogs before 0.14.3 allows remote authenticated users to make repository pages unavailable. RenderIssueIndexPattern passes the configured external tracker format to com.Expand, which slices at a missing closing brace and panics. Exploitation requires permission to set that format and a user to load a page containing an issue reference; the outage is repository-scoped.
