Reflected XSS via unescaped Bazar widget attributes
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Reflected XSS in the Bazar widget handler in YesWiki before 4.6.6 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted URL. The widget template inserts the id GET parameter into data-formid and data-iframeUrl attributes after strip_tags(), which leaves double quotes unescaped and permits attacker-controlled event-handler attributes. Exploitation requires Bazar to be enabled and a victim to open the URL; injected script runs in the YesWiki origin and can access browser-visible data or act through an authenticated victim's session.
