Code execution via ANGLE heap buffer overflow
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Heap-based buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 146.0.7680.178 on macOS allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted HTML. The affected ANGLE routine writes beyond a heap allocation, but Google has not disclosed the routine or incorrect bounds operation. A victim must load the crafted page in a vulnerable macOS build; successful exploitation executes code within Chrome's security context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
