Integer overflow in Google Chrome Codecs before 146.0.7680.178 allows remote attackers to read or write memory via crafted HTML. Google identifies the affected locus only as Codecs; the restricted issue and public bulletin do not disclose which calculation overflows or how its wrapped result reaches the memory operation. A user must load the attacker-controlled page, after which the flaw provides arbitrary memory read and write in the browser process; public sources do not establish code execution.
