Restricted module-settings disclosure via misgrouped authorization condition
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Missing authorization in Xibo Signage Xibo CMS before 4.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted module settings. Module::settingsForm evaluates a PHP authorization expression with incorrect operator precedence, bypassing its super-admin-only restriction and returning the full module entity. Access requires the Module View feature, which is not granted to non-admins by default; exposed data can be viewed but not changed.
