Authentication bypass via path and header manipulation
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Authentication bypass in affected Ciena Navigator and Blue Planet releases allows remote attackers to access protected HTTP resources. The HTTP authentication layer handles crafted request paths and headers without consistently applying authentication and associated audit logging. No account or user interaction is required, and successful requests reach protected application functions while evading the corresponding authentication audit controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
