Authenticated data theft via UserAction SQL injection
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
SQL injection in WoltLab Suite Core 6.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database data. AJAX-exposed UserAction create and update actions pass attacker-controlled user-option input to UserEditor::updateUserOptions for unsafe SQL processing. Any authenticated account can reach the flaw, and the extracted data enables takeover of privileged accounts that lack two-factor authentication.
