Root command execution via unauthenticated Telnet shell
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Missing authentication in SJRC F11 SJ-GPS-PRO firmware build 2019-09-17 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root via Telnet. The inetd service accepts connections on TCP port 23 and starts /app/sh_for_telnet as root; that wrapper invokes /bin/sh -l without a login check. Any client able to join the drone's open Wi-Fi network can reach the shell without credentials and gain full control of the embedded system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
