Privilege escalation via unsafe order-by interpolation
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
SQL injection in Crocus 1.3.44 allows remote attackers to escalate privileges and read database data through a crafted request. DeviceInfoMapper.xml interpolates an attacker-controlled order-by value with MyBatis ${} syntax, while CommonFunction.validate() checks only whether the value is empty. Network access is sufficient; the published proof of concept uses time-delayed injection and obtains the database account root@localhost.
