Heap-based buffer overflow in Bento4 1.6.0-641 allows local users to crash MP4-processing applications with a crafted MP4 file. In the DSI v1 path, AP4_Dac4Atom trusts the 9-bit n_presentations count and repeatedly calls AP4_BitReader::SkipBits beyond a short dac4 payload without checking remaining bits. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access to submit and parse the file; the demonstrated result is an out-of-bounds read and process crash.
