Local code execution via unchecked file paths
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Path traversal in Menyoo 2.0 before commit 729aa48 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through its file-management menus. Spooner, VehicleSpawner, WeaponOptions, and PedComponentChanger concatenate untrusted save, folder, and rename values into filesystem paths without rejecting traversal tokens or path separators. Local access to the in-game menus is required; successful traversal permits writes or renames outside the intended data directories with the game process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
