Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link NAS and NVR firmware through 20260205 allows remote authenticated users to execute code or crash devices. The cgi_addgroup_get_group_quota_minsize function in /cgi-bin/account_mgr.cgi copies an unchecked Name value into a stack buffer, overwriting its return address. The published request carries an authenticated session cookie; the demonstrated consequence is a persistent service crash, while return-address control enables code execution.
