Unauthenticated internal data disclosure via unvalidated upload URL
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
SSRF in uploadRemote in andreimarcu linx-server 1.0 through 2.3.8 allows remote attackers to read internal HTTP responses. The /upload endpoint passes its url parameter to http.Get without filtering internal addresses or metadata endpoints, then saves the response as a public file. The remoteuploads option must be enabled; an empty remoteAuthFile leaves the route unauthenticated, exposing internal service data or cloud metadata.
