Application crashes via undersized JPEG pixel buffer

Heap-based buffer overflow in gdk-pixbuf on affected Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases allows remote attackers to crash image-processing applications. The gdk_pixbuf__jpeg_image_load() function allocates too little pixel storage after failing to reject an unsupported color-component count, so libjpeg writes past the heap buffer. Automatic thumbnail generation can reach the loader without user interaction; the confirmed consequence is an application crash, not reliable code execution.
