Database disclosure via ineffective sort-type validation
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
SQL injection in GoAdmin 1.2.26 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through the __sort_type URL parameter. GetParam checks for ASC or DESC but stores its fallback only in a fields map, leaving the original SortType value for fmt.Sprintf to insert into an ORDER BY clause. Exploitation requires access to a table using the default database handler; demonstrated payloads delay queries and expose database values, while limited database privileges constrain further compromise.
