Remote code execution via unchecked mac copy
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in AdvSetMacMtuWan in Tenda AC7 15.03.06.44 allows remote attackers to execute code through the mac parameter. check_param_changed copies the user-controlled mac value into a fixed-size stack buffer with strcpy and performs no destination-size check. The published request includes a password cookie, although the official CVSS assessment requires no privileges; successful exploitation permits code execution or a service crash.
