Unauthenticated command execution via rtLogServer injection
Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026
Command injection in TOTOLINK A3300R 17.0.0cu.557_b20221024 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands via a crafted request. The setSyslogCfg handler passes the unfiltered rtLogServer parameter through Uci_Set_Str and snprintf into CsteSystem, which invokes execv. No authentication or user interaction is required; injected commands execute in the router's embedded operating environment.
