Network disruption via unauthenticated VLAN entry deletion
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Incorrect access control in TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to delete VLAN entries through its web interface. The delVlanCfg handler at /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts a crafted POST request with topicurl=delVlanCfg and delRule selectors without enforcing authentication. Network access to the management interface is sufficient, and successful exploitation changes VLAN configuration and can interrupt network service.
