Unauthenticated URL-filter deletion via missing access check
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Incorrect access control in TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to delete URL filtering rules via a crafted POST request. The delUrlFilterRules handler in web_cste/cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts topicurl and delRule selectors and deletes matching rules without authenticating the request. Network reachability to the management CGI is sufficient; successful exploitation removes configured web-access restrictions without altering other documented settings.
