Unauthenticated roaming changes via missing authentication
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Incorrect access control in TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to alter roaming behavior via an HTTP POST request. The setRoamingCfg handler in web_cste/cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts roaming parameters without requiring authentication. Network reachability to the management endpoint is sufficient; the published record establishes configuration changes but not code execution or service interruption.
