Unauthorized wireless pairing via missing authentication
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Incorrect access control in TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to open a WPS pairing window without authentication. The setWiFiWpsStart handler in cstecgi.cgi accepts a crafted POST request selecting that operation and starts pairing without checking an authenticated session. Network access to the management endpoint is sufficient, exposing the wireless network to unauthorized pairing attempts.
