RTSP service crash via repeated SETUP URL
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda CP3 V3.0 firmware V31.1.9.91 allows remote attackers to crash the RTSP service via SETUP. The second-stage URL routing parser processes four concatenated valid RTSP URLs without validating the URL field length, overflowing a stack buffer. Exploitation requires LAN access and a valid session ID obtained through the preceding RTSP handshake; the demonstrated consequence is loss of camera streaming for all clients.
