RTSP service crash via repeated SETUP URL
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stack overflow in Tenda CP3 V3.0 firmware 31.1.9.91 allows remote attackers to crash the RTSP service via a crafted SETUP request. The second-stage URL routing parser accepts four concatenated valid RTSP URLs without enforcing a length bound, causing a stack buffer overflow. LAN access and no authentication are sufficient; exploitation immediately stops TCP port 554 and interrupts camera access for local clients.
