Stored XSS via unescaped Instagram follow text
Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026
Stored XSS in the Instagram Feed widget in Royal Addons for Elementor 1.7.1056 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The widget saves instagram_follow_text without sanitization and renders it as the follow-button label without HTML escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, but an administrator must first configure a valid Instagram access token; the script runs when a user visits the affected page.
