Authenticated code execution via unchecked QuickIndex password
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda CH22 Firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to crash httpd or execute code. formQuickIndex passes the user-supplied PPPOEPassword to sub_3B698 without a length check when mit_linktype equals 2, overflowing a stack buffer. Access to the router's QuickIndex management request is required, and exploitation interrupts the web service or runs code with its privileges.
