CVE-2026-5140Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authentication bypass via unvalidated timestamp argument

Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026

CRLF injection in TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Pardus Update 0.6.3 allows context-dependent attackers to bypass authentication via a crafted timestamp. SystemSettingsWrite.py passed its timestamp argument directly to ConfigParser, so embedded carriage returns created additional entries in the privileged Pardus Update configuration. Reachability requires the affected helper path; the CNA rates exploitation as network-based with user interaction, while public repository history exposes no remote request path.
