Authenticated code execution via utente_chat SQL injection
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
SQL injection in Bottinelli Informatica Vedo Suite 1.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through utente_chat. The /api_vedo/chat endpoint concatenates the GET parameter directly into a Microsoft SQL Server query, enabling stacked and time-based blind queries. A low-privilege application session is required, and host command execution depends on xp_cmdshell being enabled; otherwise the flaw permits database reads, writes, and deletes.
