Authenticated script execution via offline snackbar message
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Stored XSS in SuperPWA Super Progressive Web Apps 2.2.43 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via an offline message. The plugin stores offline_message_txt without sanitization, passes it through wp_localize_script, and inserts it into the snackbar with innerHTML. Administrator-level access is required to set the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser when the offline snackbar appears.
