Authenticated command execution via unsanitized curl URL
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Command injection in Osbil Technology oPanel 1.19.50 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands via a crafted URL. The /advanced/curl endpoint passes the user-supplied url parameter to its curl execution routine without adequate sanitization, permitting semicolon injection and ${IFS} expansion to bypass space restrictions. A valid authenticated session and a crafted POST request are required; commands run with the web application's server privileges and can read or alter server data.
