Arbitrary file placement via unsanitized ZIP entry names
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Path traversal in Zhoros SuperBin 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to place files outside an extraction directory via a crafted upload. The MultipleFileWriter path passes the multipart FileHeader.Filename directly to zipWriter.Create, preserving backslash traversal in ZIP entry names. Exploitation requires a user or workflow to download and extract the generated archive with a Windows-style extractor, enabling arbitrary downstream file placement but not a server-side filesystem write.
