Privilege escalation via unchecked table callback authorization
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Privilege escalation in GAPTEQ Designer 3.5 allows remote authenticated users to obtain administrator-only table access via a callback. The /GAPTEQForms/Table/_callback/load endpoint accepts a user-controlled tableDefIFS value and returns the selected table without enforcing the Administrator-only role restriction. A valid Company Manager session is required; a crafted POST can retrieve the sec2_dom_user table reserved for administrators.
